Step aboard the Mobile Museums of Tolerance bus for an immersive, interactive experience exploring empathy, tolerance, and mutual respect through the lessons of history. This year?s featured exhibit, The Civil Rights Movement, examines the struggle for civil rights in the United States through the perspectives of key historical figures. Visitors will explore the lasting effects of discrimination and segregation, discuss contemporary civil rights challenges, and discover ways to promote equality in their own communities.
This free experience is open to all ages. Walk-ins are welcome during open hours. Brookfield educators are also invited to contact Eddie Eng, the Student Success Librarian, to schedule a complimentary workshop for groups of up to 30 students.
