“Banned Popular Songs” - In this video presentation, Ian looks at popular songs that were censored due to their content. Songs can be censored for a variety of reasons, including explicit content, profanity, sex, drugs, anti-governmental, anti-war propaganda, and religion, to name a few. However, you may be surprised by why some songs were actually banned. Nowadays, many of these songs seem pretty innocuous, but at the time, they were found to be extremely offensive to some people. Tonight you’ll get to listen to some of these songs and hear their stories.
