Are you a caregiver to an infant aged 8 weeks to 6 months old? Learn how to provide a loving massage to your infant in this free, five-week course with certified Pediatric Occupational Therapists.
Registrants must commit to attending all five weekly sessions with their infant. Please bring a blanket to each session.
Course registration is required and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration is limited to 10 adults and 8 infants.
If your infant is older than 6-8 months, but not yet crawling, you are also welcome to register. Premature infants and infants with disabilities are encouraged to join as they could greatly benefit from pediatric massage. Caregivers of twins will need to bring both twins and two adults. Additional siblings are unfortunately not able to be included unless there is another adult to supervise them.
Benefits of pediatric massages include increased bonding between infants and caregivers, better sleep, and decreased infant stress and crying.
Please note that the course instructors are pursuing a Certified Educators of Infant Massage (CEIM) certification. This 5 week course is a required part of their CEIM training process.
